Cancer

Cancer is the name given to the malignant tumor. These cells have the ability to spread beyond the original area. If the tumor is left untreated, it may spread and destroy surrounding tissues. They may also spread to the other organs of the body through the bloodstream or lymphatic system. When the cancer cells reach a new area they may go on multiplying and form a new tumour. This is known as a secondary cancer or metastasis.
