Cancer
Cancer is the name given to the malignant tumor. These
cells have the ability to spread beyond the original area. If the tumor is
left untreated, it may spread and destroy surrounding tissues. They may also
spread to the other organs of the body through the bloodstream or lymphatic
system. When the cancer cells reach a new area they may go on multiplying
and form a new tumour. This is known as a secondary cancer or metastasis.
