Kalra Hospital has always been a pioneer
in the field of cardiac care in West End, New Delhi, and in other parts of
the NCR, and India. In our endeavour to spread the awareness among the
masses about World Heart Day 2006, and concept of preventive cardiology, we
are organizing 'Young at Heart' week from September 18 to September 24,
2006, as part of our World Heart Day celebrations. The programme shall
stretch across a week, based on this year's international World Heart Day
theme 'How young is your heart?' The programme will be publicized at state,
and national levels.
The programme has been structured according to the international directives
of the World Heart Federation headquarters, Geneva. Active participation,
and/or affiliation are expected from other government-run and
non-governmental institutions, and organisations. Though the programme is
aimed at generating public awareness, and interest in the concept of
preventive cardiology, the targeted groups shall be 30-40 year olds,
executives, and professionals who are leading stressful lives, and heading
toward multifarious cardiac problems. Our objective is based on the age old
adage of 'Stitch in time saves nine'; better prevent than cure!
We solicit your cooperation, and valuable participation in this programme.
Please extend your support at the earliest, to make the endeavour a grand
success. Contact us for any questions. Valuable comments and suggestions
will be highly appreciated.
